Furthest ride yet

East Hills for a bowl of fruit at Gaia.

I had to ride a little bit on the East Beltline to get to Frederik Meijer Gardens, but I made it. This is the farthest I've ever gone. The place was very crowded, but I think the butterfly exhibit is winding down. Plus, it's a great day.

I stopped by the Grand Rapids Library to get a few books of poems by Carl Sandburg and Allen Ginsburg.

This is right out in front of the Grand Central Market on the Monroe Mall, downtown. There are good sandwiches here, but such a long bike ride dehydrates a chap, which is why I opted for a drink instead. From here, it was a quick stop by my dad's and then home.
